Application Package PreparationHave you ever been to the Coast Guard and then been sent away because you did not have all of the appropriate information to complete your application process? Have you gone back with what you thought was all of the necessary paperwork only to find that you are missing just one more piece of information and must go back, again? STOP ----- STOP ---- STOP ---- STOP ----- STOP! We will completely relieve you of all frustration when presenting your application to the Coast Guard. We compile your application and make sure that all of the required information for your submission is present, organized and referenced. Now this option is critical as the Centralization of the Coast Guard Regional Examination Centers has become a reality. The Regional Exam Centers (REC's) can now only verify the originals of your paperwork, take your fingerprints, administer the oath when applicable, and proctor examinations. They are no longer able to assit you in any other capacity. All evaluations are now completed at the National Maritime Center in West Virginia. Once your paperwork has been sent to West Virigina from the Regional Exam Centers, they no longer have the ability to answer questions concerning your evaluation. You must contact the National Maritime Center. Please picture the delay in processing your application if information is missing when your package arrives in West Virginia. This can and will result in MONTHS of unnecessary delay.
