Comment on Are my services really necessary? by captainjack

Are your services needed? At first I thought this was an April fools day joke posted in May. If anyone doubts the need for your type services, have them talk to me. Had you been in business when I was working on getting my license I it would have saved me months and many trips in obtaining my ticket. I had so many head aches I would have gladly paid $400 to have it looked over to make sure everything was in order. Now with the delays that NMC is having I see this service even more necessary to insure everything goes as smoothly as possible. With paperwork being moved back and forth to NMC, I can see the long delays that could come about if something was out of order.

Stalforts prommises are apparently worth little. They have let my licesne expire even though renewal was submited months before the date. The sytem is broken beyond repair. The Coast Guard obviously can't handle their mission. They are a failure at this and they should be disbanded or at least relieved of their oversight of the Merchant Marine!

Hi

Several questions:

1. How much sea time may be reduced?
2. Which approved courses?
3. What would be the alternative path for those with licenses 200 ton and below?

Thank you for your comment, it is always good to see questions from you the mariner.

To answer your question.

No, it does not mean that you don't have to renew your Radar, it just means that the Radar endorsement will no longer be placed on your license, you will now be required to carry the Radar Certificate with you or have it available within 48 hours should you be boarded and asked to see it.

Touch Keys with you later,

So does that mean no radar renewal needed for license renewal?
Many thanks for keeping us updated...
